InvestED: Ep. 221- Fears Surrounding Tesla

This week Phil and Danielle talk about what’s going on with Tesla and Elon Musk right now, and where they think things will end up in the future.

Phil talks about a big problem for Tesla. Competition, disruption, and innovation. By the year 2022, there are expected to be over 200 electric cars on the market. That’s just 3 years from now. It’s a little scary that Tesla is running hard into the teeth of competition that’s been built on it’s back.

We’ve seen things like this before as well. We saw it with Steve Jobs and the NeXT computer. They created something really amazing and unique, but by the time the prices got to a place where people could buy them, Windows had come along with their own operating system.

Do you think Tesla will be around in 10 years? Find out what we think and join us on the podcast today!
